Oscify's third instrumental release of 2018, following the boombap influenced "Good Morning", and bleep bloop future trap of "Arcade", "Coaster" is sort of self deprecatingly titled album. This was because for a while Os almost felt the tracks were throwaways, as they represent a period of transition for Os, both artistically as well as a time when the tools being used to create the music were changing.

The loops beats were created using FL Studio, and then arranged and mixed using Ableton Live. As a final touch, Os added a few live DJ vinyl turntable scratches to help increase the organic vibes.

Every track on "Coaster" is different, ranging from heavy bangers to spaced out journeys, with lots of abstraction and plenty of glitch hop goodies blended in for good measure. Indeed, "Coaster" has surpassed the original meaning in its title to exist as a true sonic roller coaster of an experience (the downtempo version of course).
